When shopping for a denim jacket, what is the one thing you are looking for? cut or color? Or if the jacket has space to hold your favorite snacks?

It is very unlikely that one is looking for a sausage rack when buying a jacket. But someone thought, ‘why not?’

A designer has created a jacket with a sausage roll pocket in case you want to take snacks with you.

The Mehra jacket at TRiCKETT, which sells for £115 (Rs 10,726.69), is described as: ‘It’s a shape that can be dressed up or down, looks great with jeans or a suit, has lots of useful pockets and they’re still made from a premium British fabric which is a nice added bonus.

The brand describes the design of the jacket in more detail: “The design of this jacket was born out of a need to create a jacket that was denim, but was not a ‘denim jacket’. It’s basically the opposite of what that sweaty dude would wear on the market stall trying to sell you Icelandic techno CDs for £45.

Speaking about the design, the brand owner said, “I wanted something unstructured that looked super cool and could be worn all year round.”

Speaking about the design of the jacket, the designer said, “As for the snacks, we have our custom sausage pocket inside the jacket. A phone will also fit in there so it’s a win-win in terms of storage!”

“I wanted something unstructured that looked super cool and could be worn all year round. Our jacket comes with three front pockets – two on each side at the bottom and one on the left chest with a divider for a pen, a thin cigar or a Pepperami… whatever floats on your boat.

Reactions to the creation were mostly positive.

A Twitter user seemed impressed that these were sausage roll pouches. He said, “Sausage roll pocket…now you have my attention!”

Another user commented, “perfect for that pocket meat”.
